The Prenatal Parenting Programtm was developed by Dr. Frederick Wirth, a Neonatologist for over 30 years.  During these 30 years of caring for the tiniest and sickest of patients - premature babies - Dr. Wirth came to notice that these very, very young infants were capable of recognizing their parents voices from across the room.  He even discovered that their vital signs would change when he walked into the room!   He was fascinated by their intelligence, prompting him to research brain development.  Out of his research, the Prenatal Parenting Programtm was born.

It is well known that, good, regular medical care is fundamental during pregnancy.  However, there is so much more.  Dealing with your emotions in healthy ways, building your self-esteem, releasing stress, managing fears, exercising safely during pregnancy, and communicating effectively with loved ones, including  your unborn child, all help you to prepare for becoming parents and birthing a happy, healthy baby!
