My Training and Qualifications
I completed a DONA (Doulas International) approved training on 4/5/08. I am certified through NAPS (Northwest Association for Postpartum Support) and in the process of certifying with DONA.
As part of my NAPS certification requirements, I have been background checked, am infant, child, and adult CPR/AED certified, and retain liability insurance.

Postpartum Doula
Providing You and Your Family with In-Home Care During the Post Partum Period
A postpartum doula provides in-home, non-medical, physical and emotional support to new families after the birth of their child(ren).
Why Hire a Postpartum Doula?
Reasons for hiring a postpartum doula are varied and many. Some new families do not live near extended family, perhaps have never held a newborn before, are expecting mulitples and could use several extra hands, or help with sibling adjustment. Or perhaps a family is in need of care from a trained, objective individual. What might you need help with after the baby(ies) arrive?
What Do Postpartum Doulas Do?
As a postpartum doula, I can provide all or any of the following for you and your new family:
As a Postpartum Doula, it is my intention to smooth the passage to parenting by providing you with an extra set of hands; to be a mentor in mothering. It is my goal to meet your family's needs for a smooth and healthy transition to parenting!
